Brighten My Day

Here are the fun things about today's outfit:
1. Earrings - Thrifted for $0.25 (YES you read that right. Only 25 cents)
2. Yellow Coat - Thrifted for $12.50 (YES, yesterday was a great thrifting day!)
3. Sweater - Target
4. Red Tank - H&M
5 Bangles - Sorry, no idea where these came from but I love them so they're fun!

I love wearing bright colors when it's raining outside. And I live near Portland, OR so it's raining outside almost 75% of the year. Bright clothes brighten my day. They almost trick my brain into thinking it's bright outside (even if my bright colors are on a sweater and I'm freezing).

I had something else to brighten my day today, too. Great conversation seriously warms my heart!
I love just sitting with a friend and talking about life, and the Lord! It's one of my favorite pass times.
Not to mention I spend a large percentage of my life in coffee shops anyways, so to add a great conversation just makes my day...bright!

Philippians 2:1-4
Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

  2. I've always wanted to visit Portland, so I'm semi-jealous about that.
Oh, and the fact that you have a pair of those shoes! I wish I had picked them up at Target when they were there..but I didn't, and now they're no where to be found.

  5. could you be any cuter? i searched and searched and never came across a pair of wedged booties that i loved as much as the blowfish ones (the target ones were never sold here in austin and they sold out online SO fast!), so i never got to rock the rolled jeans and wedged booties look. since we're having what's probably our last cold week here, i should put together a similar outfit for funsies. love those bright colors and especially your coat, pretty girl!
