DIY: Purple Dress Refashioned

The fun things about today's outfit:
1. Purple Dress - Thrifted for about $5 and refashioned into the above.
2. Jewelry - Both bracelets & the necklace were purchased from my friends jewelry company.
Like I mentioned before, it's not the least expensive, but it's supporting a friend!
3. Boots - Target
4. Belt - This came on a sweater I purchased at kohls...
Should not have been on that sweater, but it looks great paired with dresses!

This is seriously one of my favorite refashions ever! It is so comfy!
Today had so much sun! I love it. And not a ton of wind, so it even felt like spring.
{sigh} I can feel the flowers aching to blossom! YEAH!

This afternoon I hit up a friend to grab coffee (one of my favorite pass times) and she responded with, "I have to be at the cross-fit gym for an hour to work out. Want to come with me?" So off I went, ready to sweat out the sweet coffee I'd been sipping this morning. It was so sweet! I've never done a cross fit work out before... I want to join that sweet gym! Only problem...$$$$$. So when I get that budget in place, maybe I'll jump in!

1 Timothy 4:8
For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things,
having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

  1. i am in love with how well this dress fits you and sooo impressed with your skillz! i feel like i'm always searching for the perfect cotton tshirt shift dress and you just whipped one up.

also, i don't know anything about cross-fit, but i've definitely never heard it described as sweet. sweet like cool or sweet like precious or sweet like kind? i guess any of the above justifies the $$$$$.

  2. So great Nao! (I'm afraid when/if we go out to coffee, it won't involve CrossFit! haha. Maybe croissants!:-) I would love to join a CF gym though. Seems like a fun way to get your booty kicked! xoxo
