A Quarter Century

The fun things about this outfit:
Skirt - Thrifted ($5), Shirt - Ross, Shoes - Thrifted ($8), Earrings - Yardsale ($0.25)

I just think, for one second, I'll point out that yesterday was my birthday.
I've officially hit the ripe old age of 25.
A quarter century old, as my sister so kindly pointed out.

At first I was a little bummed. 25 and I still haven't done so many things that I want to do.
Then, as every lovely lady at church reminded me, I remembered 25 isn't that old at all.
So here's me raising my glass and saying "Cheers."
Cheers to letting the Lord do with this year whatever he has planned.
Cheers to not letting myself get in the way. Ha.
 Cheers to growth.
Cheers to new adventures, new friends, new trials, and new victories.
Cheers to maybe some old victories too.
Cheers to overcoming.
Cheers to Him who has overcome!
Cheers 25! Bring it on!

John 16:33
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace.
In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

  1. Happy belated birthday! And cheers (or amen!) to everything you said. :)

  2. Happy Birthday (for yesterday)! and 25 is not old at all.....Love this skirt so feminine and pretty.
Hoping that this year brings you all kinds of love, laughter and luck.

And yes, 25 is so young! I just turned 27 and I feel kind of weird about it, but I keep having to remind myself that is still young too!
