The fun things about this outfit:
1. Dress - H&M
2. Shoes - Target
Once I saw these pictures I realized... I NEED SUN!
It's been so sunny over the past couple weeks and I still look like a pasty white girl from the land of no light. Yesterday I was wanting to spend some time with my mom and I thought, What better opportunity to be in the sun! So my mom and I went on a 4.75 mile walk. From her house to a coffee shop and back.
Yes, I got a ice coffee! (I know you were wondering!) And I'm pretty sure I got tan lines too!
I'm pretty darn proud of my mom! She's been out of shape for a while now
and she's kicking butt at Crossfit these days! She's getting into shape!
Go mo---m! Go mo---m! (I was singing that if you couldn't tell.)
We're working on walking a 5k together in September, which apparently is no biggy, because she totally conquered that walk yesterday which is longer than a 5k by a mile.
I guest posted for Rachel yesterday! Check it out to see my
thoughts on nail polish this spring/summer!
And today I gave my insight in chapter 8 of The Purpose Driven Life.
1 Peter 1: 13-15
Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded,
set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of
Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.
I live in the desert, land of the sun, and I'm still pasty white girl. IMO, better than than tan skin cancer girl. :D just saying.
