Well, I've been pretty inconsistent with blogging lately. With last weekend spent at the hospital with my friend and her new baby, and trying to clean my house, and now of all things I have a head cold. You know the kind that feels like your head is swollen to 3 times it's normal size? Yep, that's the one I have. But I still managed to snag some pics before the sneezing, nose blowing, mouth breathing craze hit me.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is
being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us
an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things
that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen
are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Love that belt :)

DeleteGet well lady! Sometimes I think those rotten head colds are worse than the full on flu, they are just so annoying!
ReplyDelete((and oh my, you have no idea how healing that passage from 2 Cor just was for me... at a time I would really love to throw in the towel and lose heart, that came right when needed... thank you for being a conduit of His truth!))
Thanks Lauren. I agree. I love this verse. In fact I was inspired to use it today after reading someone elses post this morning about not being ashamed of Christ.
DeleteFeel better sis!
ReplyDeleteI love that you made this dress into a fabulous skirt - it really fits you beautifully and I love the colors!

DeleteI just found your blog via Megan's blog (Beautiful Moments) and instantly fell in love with it all! I love your style, your love for the Pacific Northwest, your love for Bones, and most importantly, your love for Jesus. I know I sound repetitive, but I seriously love the fact that you post verses on every single post. It's such a great way to shine His light and end your blog post on a good note!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I'm not in love with is the fact that you have a cold! :) Hope you get better soon! That mouth-breathing craze is definitely not fun.
Yeah Kiki! Glad you came by! I'm feeling much better thanks!
DeleteI love the blue pattern on that dress/skirt! It's so pretty and spring-time.
