Romans 5:6-8
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—
though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—
but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Screaming Like a Nut Case

The fun things about this outfit:
Shoes & Jeans - Old Navy, Sweater - Thrifted, Scarf - old'n days, Earrings - Thrifed

After a long and ridiculously action packed and blog lacking October, it's time to try (key word) to get back into a habit here.

Let me set the scene for you. After 11:30pm I'm sitting in a car talking to a friend before leaving to go home. I see my friends eye get caught by something out the window behind me. I turn around to see what was up, and right out my window is a huge dog face. (Not sure you know... I'm a little irrationally scared of large dogs) So I screamed... Quickly. Sharply. Loudly! As my eyes moved up to see a man facing my car and standing very closely I jumped backwards onto my E-break and screamed again... longer. Sharper. Louder! And you know... Just for good measure I screamed one more time... Longer again. Nice and Sharply... and Louder!

The guy was totally caught of guard. He was clearly looking at his phone and not even trying to be a total creeper (you know... my instant thought) and he quickly  moved along. To which I jumped out of my car and yelled, "I'm so sorry. I was soooo startled." At which exact point I got back in my car and began to laugh so hard I cried because never in my life have I screamed like I was running from an axe murdering clown in a horror movie.

And my friends that is the story of a whole 45 seconds of my weekend.

First John 1:5
This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you,
that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Sleeves Are Back

The fun things about this outfit:
Chambray - Thrifted, Jeans - Old Navy, Shoes - HandMeDown, Bracelet - Old Navy ($2)

I'm pretty pumped for fall! I'm that person who loves each and every season in it's time.
So while I love the sun, I'm not sad when the rain starts.

Needless to say, I was excited for a more chilled day to toss a sleeved shirt on.
The rain is coming! And I'm excited!

Galatians 5:22-24
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Chase Me Again: A Unique Thrift Shop for You {Five}

The fun things about this outfit:
Shirt - Chase Me Again, Jeans - Old Navy, Shoes - HandMeDown, White Bracelet - Chase Me Again

First, I think this shirt is adorable and I love that it was just $3!

As you look around Chase Me Again thrift store you'll notice a strange doorway that says, "walk thru." You guessed it people, Chase Me Again has a second store. It's called Chase Me Home and is filled with treasures for decorating a home. These outfit shots were taken in one of the cute displays!

Not only is Chase Me Again a thrift store, and Chase Me Home a cute decor store, but they are both run by a unique group! All week I've been sharing things I've found out about these incredible stores with you and to close the week I asked Sue in conclusion, what makes Chase Me Again Unique?

The volunteer staff has picked up my philosophy that life is beautiful and that reflects in our store. They take great pride in how the store is run and in how it looks. On most days we are running a retail store . . . but on some days . . . we are having fun at the clubhouse,

My mantra passed down to me from my Mother is, "Be Happy".

There you have it people! I hope you all go check it out!

Romans 6:10-11
For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God.
So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Chase Me Again: A Unique Thrift Shop for You {One}

The fun things about this outfit:
Jeans - Buckle, Pink Tank & Shoes - Target, Black shirt - Chase Me Again ($3)

As you all know, I'm a thrifter! I love a good thrift find,
and I'm pretty loyal to the local thrift stores.

Well, I thought I'd step it up a notch and give a shout out to one of my fave stores.
And I thought I'd make my shout out last ALL week. Each outfit will feature a thrift find.
It's called Chase Me Again. The lovely owners name is Sue! {pictured above}

Out of all my thrift shopping, probably 50% is done at Chase Me Again.
So why not give you all a little peek into their world?
I've asked Sue a few questions so that you could get to know her and her store.
So stay tuned all week to see some great finds in every outfit,
that I purchased at Chase Me Again,
and find out some fun deets on this fun thrifters paradise.

To start off I asked Sue to let us get to know her.

I have always enjoyed looking for the treasure amongst the junk.
As a kid I loved the times my Dad would take me with him when
he went to the dump. Back then people were allowed to dig through the piles
and take whatever they wanted. Dad always let me lug home a treasure.

My Mom taught me that no matter how unpleasant a person acted or
looked there was always a treasure inside of them; we just had to find it.
We had a joke about my Mom. When she first met someone she would
learn their name, find out where they were born, and get them to share
some deep secret they had never told anyone (all in the first visit).

Come back tomorrow to hear the amazing story of how Chase Me Again got started.
Check out their website too!
Hebrews 6:10-12
For God is not unjust so as to overlookyour work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do. And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
