4Days of Red, White, & Blue: #3 (5 Things)

The fun things about this outfit:
Shirt - Hand-Me-Down, Pants - Thrifted & Skinnied,
Shoes - Nordstrom (from back in the shopaholic days), Necklace - Antique Shop

June was ridiculously busy for me. There was events galore, fundraisers for high school camp, and much more...some involved tie-dying...

Because of this, I decided to make a few July goals so the entire summer doesn't pass me by before I have time to blink. I know I could add a lot of things to this list, but these are a few of the things I want to accomplish this month:

1. Read 2 short books.
(I'm working my way through Chronicles of Narnia for the first time ever.)

2. Complete 4 DIY projects.
(Notice I didn't say "start" because we all know we have a bin of DIY projects past that have not been finished. I missed DIYing in June!)

3. Tan it up.
(I'm not one to spend to much time in the sun. My mom had skin cancer a while back and I am pretty aware of how long I linger in the golden rays, but I do want to have something resembling proof that the sun made a visit to the Northwest.)

4. Run once a week.
(Sounds less than ambitious, I know. But don't forget I'm doing crossfit 4x a week.)

5. Get my passport.
(There may be a trip in my future...I've been doing some serious procrastinating when it comes to preparation.)

P.S. My month is cut a week short because I'm taking high schoolers to camp. So I'm realizing as I write that I need to get crackin' on this stuff! Pronto!

1 Timothy 6:13-16
I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which he will display at the proper time—he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.
