Mother Hen

The fun things about this outfit:
1. Dress - Thrifted
2. Shoes - Ross
3. Both Necklaces - Yard Sale

As I've said before, I hang out with a lot of high school girls! I love it! I wouldn't trade it!
But yesterday I went to watch a choir concert at their school and it sort of hit me.
Two of my lovely ladies are graduating. It's a little weird to say,
and I suppose it might sound weird on your end to read
seeing as I'm only 24 ("still young" I'm told regularly),
but I FEEL OLD.

I'm only 6-7 years older than these girls but in some ways I feel all proud of them
after a concert, or doing well at track districts, or when they score in water polo,
or when they catch a fly ball and get their opposing team another "YOU'RE OUT!"

Seriously, I felt a little "mother hen" last night.
I'm going to seriously miss these senior girls!
Good thing they aren't all seniors. I might have a nervous break down and
start buying cats and stop doing my hair, and there may be some legit apron
wearing when theirs no baking or cleaning going on. And a twitch might develop...

Ok, took it a little far there.

Side Note: That choir concert rocked my socks! Talent, anyone?

Philippians 1:6
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you
will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

It's great that you're there for them like that, is it a ministry thing?
    Love that scripture!

  2. So cute! I love that you got this outfit really cheap. It shows everyone that you don't need a lot of money to make things look fabulous! We should team up and do something together since we are both fashion blogs trying to get our names out there! let me know!
